Online Florida Appraisal Continuing Education Courses & Packages

Florida Supervisor/Trainee Roles and Relationships

The Florida Supervisor/Trainee Roles and Relationships course specifically addresses Florida’s requirements that relate to supervisory appraisers and registered appraisal trainees. You’ll learn about the updates and pertinent details of Chapter 475, Part II, of the Florida Statutes as well as the impact of Senate Bill 466. Specific parts of the Florida Administrative Code relating to appraisers are also discussed. This course will enable you to understand of the requirements for the display and disclosure of the appraiser’s license, certification number, and registration. You’ll also learn about signature requirements for appraisal reports and certifications, including USPAP Standards Rules 2-3 and 3-3. Advertising, record, and workfile requirements as well as USPAP Competency Rules will also be covered. Another focus of this course is an issue that is of concern to many supervisory appraisers—whether or not to hire trainees. You’ll learn the advantages and disadvantages of hiring trainees. You’ll also discover the differences between being a supervisor and a mentor.
