Clicking "Instant
Quizzes" will present you with the option to quickly take a quiz with 10-100
questions (figure 2). Once you choose the number of questions you want, you
can select your quiz options (figure 3).
The Instant Quizzes are preconfigured to select questions from one of 3 major
categories: License Law, Priciples & Practices, and Random. You also have
two additional options (checkboxes) for how you want to view your questions.
You can choose to have any questions you miss be automatically marked for review.
To better simulate an exam setting, you can also choose to hide your score until
the end of your quiz. When you are ready to begin, click on a category.

set quiz options and begin your quiz. On the right side of the screen you have
even more control over which categories are selected. You can access the advanced

Choose your test options (figure 6).
Randomize Questions - Randomizes the order your questions appear. You can also access this option via the "Edit-->Settings" menu at the top of your screen.
Randomize Answers - To help keep you from memorizing repeated questions, you should usually randomize your answers. You can also access this option via the "Edit-->Settings" menu and it can be enabled/disabled during your quiz.
Hide My Score Until The End of the Test - Turn this on to better simulate a real exam where you wouldn't know how you're doing until the end. You can also access this option via the "Edit-->Settings" menu.
Automatically Mark Missed Questions for Review - Turning this on will ensure that any questions you miss will be added to your marked questions automatically. You can always manually add a question either before or after you answer it. You can also access this option via the "Edit-->Settings" menu and it can be enabled/disabled during your quiz.
Hide Questions I've Already Seen - Checking this box will filter out any questions you've already seen from the question pool. With this checked, you should see the maximum number of questions shrink as you take successive tests. You can always choose from all questions by unchecking this option. Once you've seen most of the questions, you may wish to press the "forget what I've seen" button to reset the filter. This filtering option has no effect on your marked questions. You can alway review your marked questions, even if you've seen them already.

Once you chosen your quiz options and started your quiz, you will see your first question immediately. Each question as well as the entire quiz are timed. At the bottom of the screen you will see statistics such as score and remaining questions. To answer a question, simply click anywhere on the answer (figure 8). You will see and hear instant feedback to let you know if you are correct. The rationale for the question will appear at the bottom of the screen. Once you have selected an answer, the "next question" button will appear. You can also hit the SPACE bar on your keyboard to show the next question. You can try all the answers if you miss the question, but it will only be judged correct if you answer correctly the first time. If you simply guess guess the correct answer on your first try, you can manually add the question to your marked questions by clicking the "mark this question" button.

Once your quiz is complete, you will see a review page showing your quiz performance. Once you are finished viewing your results, you should click on one of several options in the upper right corner of the screen (figure 9):
Retake
Entire Quiz: This is good if you really didn't feel comfortable with
the majority of the questions.
Review Missed Quesitions: This is the recommended option as
it will help you focus on only what you missed in the preceeding quiz.
Review Marked Questions: If you have marked specific questions,
you can click here to review them.
Create a New Quiz: This will take you back to the main menu where you can create
a new quiz from scratch.

Reviewing
To get the most out of this program, you should take a series of quizzes with the "automatically mark missed questions for review" option enabled. Once you have marked enough questions to form a review quiz, you can choose the "Review Marked Questions" option from the main menu (below).

Review these marked questions until you are satisfied that you know them all. As you review your marked questions, you can manually unmark them. You can also unmark all of them at once using the option in the main menu (above image).

Tips

| figure 9 |
When creating quizzes via the "Custom Quizzes" screen, you should usually choose to hide questions you've already seen (figure 9). If you have missed some of the questions you've already seen, they should have already been added to your marked questions. By filtering out the questions you've already seen each time you take a new test, you should eventually work your way through all the questions. You should then have a significant group of marked questions to review. You can then focus only on your marked questions during your final review before your exam. Once you know all the marked questions, you should be ready to pass your exam.
If it's been a while since your last study session, you may wish to click the "forget what I've seen" button when creating custom quizzes (figure 9). This will let you start from scratch working with all the questions in the database.
