Florida pre-license courses are generally valid for two years from the date of the certificate. However, pre-license (sales associate or broker) certificates dated between 1/12/04 and 6/30/06 are valid forever.
If your certificate is dated December of 2005, you should be all set. Please note that the application with the state is only valid for two years. If you applied in December of 2005, you will likely need to submit another application to the DBPR.
