Question Exam questions

I have heard that if you don't pass the exam the first time it will likely be harder the next time. Is that accurate?

If the exam is failed, how soon should the person take it again? Is there a waiting period before retaking the exam?

Hello:

I'm not sure if you are referring to the state exam of the end-of-course exam, so I will cover both.

End-of-course exam:

You must wait at least 30 days before you can take the alternate exam. As long as you know the material, you should expect the alternate exam to be about the same level of difficulty. (Be advised that you only have two attempts at this exam.)

State exam:

You can schedule to take a second state exam right away. The state has several versions of this exam. They will vary in difficulty. Some exam takers say that the second exam was easier, while some say the opposite. It is ultimately just the luck of the draw. (There is no limit as to how many times you can take the state exam.)

I hope that this information is of use to you.

If the end-of-course exam is failed a second time and a person still wishes to obtain a license, the entire course would need to be taken again. In rare cases where a student fails both online end-of-course exams, The Real Estate School, Inc. offers a reduced tuition to retake the online course.
