When attempting to launch some programs on Windows Vista, users may encounter an "access denied" error. This is a known issue with many software products running on Windows Vista and stems from the new Vista user account security features. Many users are not set up with Administrative privileges, even though they think they are.
To get around this issue, simply right-click on the program icon you are trying to launch and choose "properties". You will then see a series of tabs near the top of the properties window. Click the "compatibility" tab. Near the bottom of the compatibility options, you should see a small check box that says "Run as administrator". Make sure the box has a check mark in it (by clicking it) and then click the "OK" or "Apply" button to save the new settings. Now close the properties window and try launching the program again. This solution has worked for everyone who has contacted us about "access denied" errors, but if you are still unable to launch the program, try opening the compatibility options again and change the "compatibility mode" to WindowsXP or an earlier version of Windows. If you are still unable to launch the software, please
contact us and we will do our best to troubleshoot the problem.
