On some Windows XP and Vista machines, some software programs may fail to run for unknown reasons. Fortunately, Windows XP and Vista offer the ability for users to run programs in compatibility modes for stability with older programs. Sometimes, configuration problems on a particular computer may also require running a newer application, such as our
exam prep programs, under an older compatibility mode.
To change the compatibility mode for a program, simply right-click on the program icon you are trying to launch and choose "properties". You will then see a series of tabs near the top of the properties window. Click the "compatibility" tab. From there you should see a menu that will allow you to change the "compatibility mode" to Windows 2000 or an earlier version of Windows. Simply change this compatibility mode, then click "OK" until all the property windows are closed and then try launching the sofware again.
You may need to try more than 1 compatibility mode before you are able to launch a program. If you are still unable to launch our software after trying all other compatibility modes, please
contact us and we will do our best to troubleshoot the problem.
