Sales Associates may be paid by the closing agent
Thursday, February 18th, 1999 by adminA recent decision by the FREC authorizes a firm to allow sales associate to receive a payment directly from a title closing agent, provided the broker gives the closing agent specific instruction to that effect. Every transaction to be handled in this manner must be separately requested. More information will be available soon.
Internet Advertising
Wednesday, February 10th, 1999 by adminFREC has proposed a new rule making Internet advertising meet the general advertising requirements of the law. Additionally, its proposed rule would require the brokerage firm name to appear just above or below any point of contact information, such as email address, phone number, or address.
