Bill clears House committee that would eliminate the Notice of Nonrepresentation. The House Business Regulation and Consumer Affairs Committee unanimously passed the bill. Wording of nonrepresentation would be added to the single agent and transaction broker notice. Naturally, the bill has some hurdles to jump before being signed into law, but observers expect it to pass both houses.
