The Florida Broker exam has changed significantly effective July 1, 2011. For many years, the broker exam consisted of a composite closing statement problem that candidates had to complete and answer five questions counting 2 points each. Effective July 1, 2008, licensees who are transaction brokers no longer need to give prospective buyers or sellers the “Transaction Broker Notice.” Single agents in a transaction and licensees who have no brokerage relationships must continue to give written notice to customers of their status.
